High Temperature washable (80 degrees Celcius) and suitable for nursing homes and Hospitals. Our most popular item and supplied to Hospitals in Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales, Western Australia and South Australia. Popular with children’s hospitals and at home patients. Prevents and reduces bed sores and Pressure Ulcers.
- High-Temperature AS4480.1 Medical Sheepskins: Dark green and made to the Australian standard as4480.1, this is a curly wool sheepskin. The top of the range in medical sheepskins stops, reduces and prevents Pressure sores and bed sores. The curly wool gives the ultimate cushioned support. High Temperature washable (80 degrees Celcius) and suitable for nursing homes and Hospitals. Our most popular item and supplied to Hospitals in Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales, Western Australia and South Australia. Known to support hip injury patients and MS sufferers.
Some will sell you medical grade sheepskin, using infantcare in the same description. Do not be confused Infant and Medical Sheepskin are different. Medical skins are supportive and longer, whereas Infant Lambskins are shorter, smaller and less supportive. Support and washability are what you are looking for in choosing a medical Sheepskin.
